Wholesale Ceylon sapphires for the trade
We work with jewellers, designers and manufacturers on enquiry: tell us what you buy and we will respond with what we can source and show, each stone with its laboratory report.

How does trade buying work here?
On enquiry. Tell us what you buy, in what sizes and at what volume, and we will come back with what we can put in front of you. This page holds no catalogue and no price list: the stones listed on the site are open to anyone, and anything beyond them is answered against your brief.
The stones are the same stones. They come from the same buying, at the mines and gem markets of Ratnapura and Elahera, cut and polished in Sri Lanka, and we only buy what we can send to an independent laboratory and stand behind. A trade buyer sees what every buyer sees: what the report states, or a plain note that the report is pending.
What an enquiry should include
- Species and colour, and the carat range or the millimetre size.
- The cut and outline, and the treatment you accept or refuse.
- Whether a particular laboratory is required, and the quantity.
- A budget range, so we can answer with stones rather than with questions.
- What the stones are for: a pair, a suite or a run of calibrated stones each changes what counts as a match.
Where a pair or a suite is wanted, tell us the hue, the size and the budget, and we search the valley, report the stones separately and send them together.

Why is trade pricing on request?
Because each stone is priced individually against its own report. Colour, weight, clarity, cut and treatment differ from one stone to the next, and an unheated stone is scarcer than a heated one of the same appearance, so a single rate across a parcel would misprice most of what is in it.
Prices on the site are in US dollars, one price per stone, with the report number beside it so the facts stay yours to check. A stone whose report is pending shows Enquire in place of a price. Payment is by card to US$ 10,000 and by bank transfer above that, invoiced in USD. What we tell you about a stone is written down, so you can hold us to it.

If a question about trade buying is not answered here, put it in the enquiry and a gemmologist replies, not a template.
