What should you ask a gem dealer?
The questions the buying guides tell you to put to any dealer are exactly the ones we want: where the stone comes from, whether it is heated, what its laboratory report states and what the stone looks like outside its photographs.
On a certified stone you do not have to take the answer on trust: the listing shows the laboratory, the full report number and a link to that laboratory's own lookup, so you can check it yourself before you write to us at all.
